Describe safe formula preparation techniques
Explore teaching outlines for formula preparation
List support strategies for initiation of breastfeed-ing in the hospital
Discuss the implementation of The Joint Commis-sion Core Measure of increasing the rate of exclu-sive breastfeeding
Define the Call to Action steps to promote and protect breastfeeding
Describe Baby Friendly Initiative activities in Ohio
Explore safe sleep practices for the mother/baby dyad
Discuss current research on infant sleep and breastfeeding practices
Application has been made for IBLCE CERPs
and Nursing contact hours.
